Presenting, ‘FG Thinks That Everything About Halloween that Doesn’t Involve Giving Him Candy is Stupid, part II’   

Now, as far as costumes go, I don’t have any problem with them.  In fact, I’d say that most people are on the right track when they realize that they are ugly and need to disguise their appearance from me somehow.  And other people just like wearing costumes:

Guy1:  “Are you coming to my Halloween party?”

Guy2:  “Can I wear a dress?”

Guy1:  “Sigh… I suppose…  As long as it’s less revealing than the one you wore to my Fourth of July party.”

The problem comes in when people go overboard with their costume.  I can’t stand the people who stress out for months ahead of time about what they’re going to go as.  It’s just Halloween, people -- lets not go nuts here.

Person:  “Do you have any ideas for what I should go as for Halloween?”

FG:  “Umm… no, not really.”

Person:  “That’s ok.  Happy New Year’s, by the way.”

Just get one of those shirts that says ‘This is my costume.’  Because everyone knows that if it’s been done by every single novelty t-shirt manufacturer in America, it must be fresh, unique, and especially clever.
