Sleep is an interesting thing. I’ve noticed that the best possible sleep you can have is achieved by sleeping when you aren’t supposed to be sleeping. There’s nothing better than sleeping through something you didn’t want to do in the first place.
I think this has to do with the fact that people don’t like to be told when or how to sleep. We especially hate being told when to go to sleep, but especially hate being told when not to be asleep.
Person1: “Dude, what are you still doing up? Don’t you have to get up real early tomorrow?”
Person2: “Screw you. You’re not the boss of me.”

Person1: “Dude, why aren’t you up yet? Don’t you have to be at work in like five minutes?”
Person2: “Screw you. You’re not the boss of me.”
---
Boss: “You’re late to work again. You need to start waking up earlier.”
Person2: “Screw you. You’re not the— oh, wait… yes you are. Well, screw you anyways.”
I wish I were asleep right now.
