And now, a word on Christmas trees:  if you’re going to have a Christmas tree in you house, either make it crappy or don’t do it at all.  A proper Christmas tree is supposed to be oddly shaped and covered in a bunch of crazy ornament crap that was haphazardly thrown onto it without any thought put into the process.          

I can’t stand walking into somebody’s living room and seeing some sort of designer tree where all the ornaments match each other, along with matching garland and tree skirt.  What the hell is the point of that?  It’s like living in a department store. 

Person1:  “Dude, where the heck is the volume control on your tv?”

Person2:  “Oh, I’m sorry.  I don’t work in that department.”

 Anything worth doing is worth doing half-assedly.
