It is Groundhog Day – one of the few days left each year that are devoted to a weather-predicting rodent.  This holiday is important to three groups of people:

• People who live in the stupid town that the Groundhog is from.
• News-anchors who are looking to fill a few minutes of time with purposeless filler in an attempt to look like they aren’t dead on the inside.
• Idiots.

I do not understand how such a stupid and meaningless holiday can still continue to go on every year.  I want my calendar square back.
