I’ve been noticing that you barely ever hear the weather guy talk about the ‘wind-chill factor’ anymore.  Now they just talk about what it’s going to ‘feel like’.  Was it really necessary for them to dumb that down for us?  I think it sounds stupid.  I don’t really want to hear about their feelings.

Newsman:  “…he was sentenced to 25 years in prison, but it feels like he should have gotten the electric chair.  Now over to sports.”

SportsGuy:  “The Lakers lost tonight 88-90, but they covered the point spread and I won $500, so it feels like a win.  I have more scores to report, but I feel like going to the bathroom instead.”

Weatherman:  “Coming up after the break, your 7-day forecast… but it feels like five days because I didn’t feel like finishing it.”

I feel like leaving.
