It's Earth Day?

I just got around to clicking on the google logo to see why it looked so stupid today, and I was informed that today is Earth Day.  Who knew?  I think people are more likely to notice an Earth Day if it’s on a weekday.  Nobody’s going to trade in their Saturday afternoon for something as stupid as the Earth.

 

Person1:  “In honor of Earth Day, I’ve decided not to drive my car at all.”

Person2:  “Oh, so is that why you haven’t moved your ass from the couch all day?”

Person1:  “Presumably.”

 

Or maybe it’s because of environment overload

 

Person1:  “It’s Earth Day?  Lets go plant a tree.”

Person2:  “Hmm… might as well wait for Arbor Day to do that.  It’s less than a week away?”

Person1:  “What?  Two days in one week?  That’s bullcrap!  Lets go cut a tree down”

 

Damn those greedy environmentalists.

Person1:  “Did you know it’s Earth Day today?”

Person2:  “Yes.”

Person1:  “Oh, so are you going to do anything?”

Person2:  “No.”

Person1:  “Oh, ok.”

What about the other 8 planets in the solar system, don't they get a day?
and the sun, it should get a whole month... it can be called Sun... Day.

  Yeah, good plan. Sun Day Month can be in February... I don't think there's anything important that month. Cool.
