Fast Food + DVDs = Health

I recently heard on the news that McDonald’s is going to be offering DVD rentals from vending machines in their stores.  That sounds like just the thing a McDonald’s customer needs:

 

Cashier:  “Can I take your order?”

Customer:  “Yeah, I’ll have three Big Macs and a side-order of a mindless activity that will remove the possibility of me getting off my fat ass for at least two hours tonight.”

 

Well, that’s kind of cynical.  This might actually be a good thing for some people:

 

Cashier:  “Can I take your order?”

FG:  “Yeah, umm… the food is really terrible here… Do you have anything that doesn’t have food in it?

Cashier:  “Well, we have DVDs now.  Those don’t have food in it.”

FG:  “Perfect.”

 

No, i'm not lovin’ it.

Customer:  “Yeah, I’ll have the Double Bacon Cheeseburger and Lord of the Rings meal.”

Cashier:  “Ah, yes, the Fat Guy Special.  You can Super-Size your meal and get the Director’s Cut of the DVD for 60 cents more.  We call it the ‘Visibly Fatter’ meal.”

Customer:  “Sold.”

I'm waiting for McDonalds to introduce delivery, so you don't even have to actually leave the confines of your own living room to be so worthless.

  Ahh, a new low in the fast food industry.
I wonder if watching one of the rented DVDs while you have a fruit buzz will make it any better?

  I recommend a meth buzz for anyone who rents DVDs at McDonalds. The metabolism boost would only help in such cases.
